I decided to try this place in a cozy little location. I had the western omlet and it was very good. Wait staff was very professional and did not let my drink go empty along with the six others we were with. Very well priced for the tastful selection.

Close to our hotel, our family made a pit stop at Sherwood Cafe for brunch. This area feels a little industrial, a little neighborhood and it's tucked in off the Main Street so having Yelp helped us find it. We didn't have any issue grabbing a table during lunch hours. Besides us, only a couple of tables filled up while we were there. Our server was attentive right away and we quickly had coffees and menus.
We tried a bit of everything. Cheeseburger and fries off the kids meal, skillet with pancake upgrade, cheese omelet with upgrade and the english muffin sandwich with ham. Everyone enjoyed their meal and coffee but overall it was average. Nothing made it stand out - for example, the pancakes were good but I imagine they were frozen rather than made fresh. This is a spot to come when you don't want to make the breakfast yourself rather than because you crave the way they prep the food.
Friendly service and the kitchen was fairly quick. -

This is a little, fairly inexpensive, neighborhood spot near Fort Benjamin Harrison. I love trying local. Staff were friendly and attentive but not over bearing. Could be a really cute spot, but it's like they don't know how they want to decorate. We were there on a Saturday before lunch; they were not busy. My husband thought his coffee and food could have been hotter. I had the eggs benedict, which was very tasty and I enjoyed. I also asked for a side of extra hollandaise sauce (I like a lot of sauce). So I got a little extra -- you know, the kind of cup you might get a couple tablespoons of ketchup in. When I got the bill -- they charged $1.99 for the extra sauce. Considering the eggs benedict was only like $8 or $9, I thought this was kind of crappy. I would have paid regardless -- I like extra sauce -- but it is a personal pet peeve when they do not tell you what there is an additional charge. And honestly, for the amount given, it should have just been provided. So overall, our visit was "fine" and I like to #trynewthings ... I would probably eat there again if it was convenient, but really there is nothing compelling to make a special trip for me to go back. :( #ReviewsByRL

Good made to order food with a friendly staff. No bells and whistles but quality food with a diner ambiance. Maybe not the place you take a person when you are wanting to impress but diffentially a good place to gather with friends and family.
